American Legion Fairgrounds

The American Legion Fairgrounds is the heart of the community during the summer months.

Through contributions made to Columbus Community Foundation a live performance stage was added and made a wonderful addition to the fair and other community celebrations.

When the stock barns were destroyed in a winter storm, Columbus Community Foundation and several individuals and businesses stepped forward to replace the facility in time for the next county fair.

A Foundation donor advised fund by the Wes Houser Family in honor of the late Sandra Houser provided for the expansion of the Girl Scout House located on Legion grounds.

Columbus Lions Club and Columbus Community Foundation teamed to create sheltered dining for the county fair and other community celebrations such as the 4th of July.
